JONESBORO, Ill. -- Lois Jane Lingle, 80, died Wednesday, March 4, 1998, at the Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born June 7, 1917, in Cobden. She married Clyde H. Lingle April 4, 1937, in Cobden. He died March 12, 1982.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Lingle and Clyde Lingle Jr., both of Jonesboro; five daughters, Shirley Suitt of Evansville, Ind., Betty Fairhurst of Anna, Sue McIntosh of Pulaski, Patty Lingle of Anna and Debbie Hamilton of Clarksville, Tenn.; two brothers, Fred Rich of Cobden and Tom Rich of Charles City, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several step grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Hileman and Parr Funeral home in Jonesboro.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Johns Cemetery.
