JACKSON, Mo. -- Lois Kelsey, 89, of Clinton, Mo., died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. She was born March 22, 1913, at Cameron, Mo., daughter of Roy and Evelyn Madison Ballinger. She and Ross Kelsey were married May 28, 1937. He died in 1999...

JACKSON, Mo. -- Lois Kelsey, 89, of Clinton, Mo., died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 22, 1913, at Cameron, Mo., daughter of Roy and Evelyn Madison Ballinger. She and Ross Kelsey were married May 28, 1937. He died in 1999.

Kelsey was an elementary school teacher 24 years, including kindergarten in Clinton for 10 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Graham of Jackson; a son, Dr. Donald Kelsey of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Consalus Funeral Home in Clinton from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clinton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery.
