MATTHEWS -- Lois Hartlein, 63, of Matthews, died Friday, May 6, 1994, at her residence.
She was born June 22, 1930, at Aberdeen, Miss., daughter of John Walker Kelso and Aubrey Jackson Kelso Adams.
She married R.E. Hartlein, Dec. 27, 1946. He died Sept. 19, 1978.
Hartlein was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Matthews.
Survivors include her mother; a son, Alan Dale Hartlein of Bloomfield; two daughters, Joann Jackson and Debra Kay Rushing, both of Van Buren; a brother, Karl Kelso of Quincy, Ill.; six sisters, Mary Young of East Peoria, Ill., Christine King of Aster, Fla., Dorothy Walls of Mahomet, Ill., Thelma Patterson of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., Ruby Gold of St. Louis, Ann Losey of Normal, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, with the REv. Cecil Adams officiating.
Burial will follow in Matthews Cemetery.
