CHAFFEE, Mo. — Lois Mary Eastwood, 88, of Chaffee passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 26, 1929, in New Hamburg, Missouri, to the late Otto Charles and Mamie Westrich Scheeter. She married J.C. Eastwood on Jan. 13, 1951, and he preceded her in death Nov. 2, 2006.
Lois was a homemaker in her own home.
She is survived by her two daughters, Becky Mosebach of Cape Girardeau and Betty (Gary) Proffer of Chaffee; a brother, Alvin Scheeter of Danville, Illinois; a sister, Arabella Stike of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Wes (Ellie) Proffer of St. Charles, Missouri, Andy (Ali) Proffer of Cape Girardeau, Audrey Mosebach of Springfield, Missouri, and Carrie (Andy) Mosebach Canham of St. Louis; and five great-grandsons.
She also was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.
There will be a private family service.
