MARBLE HILL -- Lois E. Brown, 64, of Marble Hill died Sunday Dec. 8, 1996, at the family home.

She was born Nov. 20, 1932, near Marble Hill, daughter of Thomas S. and Dorothy M. Yount Stevens. She married Roy Brown Jr. on July 29, 1950. He survives.

She was a homemaker and worked for the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri. She was a charter member, youth leader, Sunday school teacher, pianist, secretary and member of the board of trustees of the United Pentecostal Church of Marble Hill.

She is survived by a son, Bobby Brown, of Marble Hill, and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the United Pentecostal Church of Marble Hill. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. David Jackson and the Rev. Thomas M. Jackson, executive administrative assistant of the United Pentecostal Church International, officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
