CHARLESTON -- Lois Emily Baker, 74, of Charleston died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, at the home of a sister. She was born May 5, 1925, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of James Roy and Lucile Barker Baker. She had lived in Poplar Bluff most of her life and was a member of the United Methodist Church. She had worked as a secretary for Pacific Railroad until her retirement...

CHARLESTON -- Lois Emily Baker, 74, of Charleston died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, at the home of a sister.

She was born May 5, 1925, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of James Roy and Lucile Barker Baker.

She had lived in Poplar Bluff most of her life and was a member of the United Methodist Church. She had worked as a secretary for Pacific Railroad until her retirement.

Survivors include two sisters, Louise Shadley of Osawatomie, Kan., and Janette Story of Charlesdist Church, with the Rev. Rick White officiating.

The body was cremated and a private service will be held later.

McMikle Funeral Home in Charleswith driving while intoxicated at I-55 and South Kingshighway Saturday.
