LLOYD MEZO

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Lloyd "Bud" Mezo of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jonathan Brown will officiate, with burial in Home Cemetery.

Friends may call today from 6:30 a.m. to service time.

Mezo, 51, died Monday, Nov. 20, 1995, in Perry County.

He was born Feb. 26, 1944, in West Frankfort, Ill., son of Lloyd R. and Leola Taylor Mezo. He and Sharon Kirkland were married Feb. 8, 1964.

Mezo was a self-employed mulch and firewood dealer, and former car salesman. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Amvets Post 94 in Perryville.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jeffrey and Bryce Mezo of Perryville; his mother of Perryville; two sisters, Joyce Horner of Pocahontas, Ill., Brenda Mullins of Marion, Ohio, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
