ADVANCE, Mo. -- H. Lloyd Harris, 77, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Advance, died Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
He was born Oct. 17, 1925, son of Monroe and Rowena Pixley Harris. He married Patsy Bollinger, who died Oct. 25, 1983.
Harris was owner of Harris Family Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was a member of Colonial Park United Methodist Church, Al Chymia Shrine Temple, and was a 32nd-degree Mason.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include three sons, Randall Harris of Dexter, Mo., Lloyd Harris of Bloomfield, Mo., Kevin Harris of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Skip Hannah officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
