SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Lloyd Edward Treece of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dolan Rogers will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from 9 a.m. to service time.
Treece, 73, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 9, 1919, at Morehouse, son of Oley Lee and Iva Mabel Williams Treece.
Treece was employed 25 years at the University of Missouri Agricultural Research Center in Portageville. He was a former auxiliary policeman at Sikeston, was a member of Sikeston Elks 2319, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include two sisters, Yutteve Crowley of Sikeston, and Clora Twitty of Stover.
