MOUNDS, Ill. -- Lloyd E. Hock, 91, of Mounds, died Wednesday, March 27, 1996, at his home. He was born Aug. 18, 1904, at Cairo, Ill., son of William and Elanora Cook Hock. He married Helen Cruse. MOUNDS, Ill. -- Lloyd E. Hock, 91, of Mounds, died Wednesday, March 27, 1996, at his home.

He was born Aug. 18, 1904, at Cairo, Ill., son of William and Elanora Cook Hock. He married Helen Cruse.

Hock worked at the former St. Mary's Hospital in Cairo for 20 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mounds.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Lloyd J. Hock of Richardson, Texas; a stepdaughter, Sondra Travers of Birmingham, Mich.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. F.M. Speakman officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery at Wetaug, Ill.
