JACKSON -- Service for Lloyd Casteel will be held at McCombs Funeral Home here Monday at 11 a.m., with Rev. O. Otto Steinhaus officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Casteel, of Jackson, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born June 21, 1902 at Neely's Landing, son of Frelan ("Doc") Casteel and Lora Craft Casteel.
He married Nola J. Wills Mar. 24, 1923, at Jonesboro, Ill. She preceded him in death Oct. 6, 1990.
Survivors include a son, Bob Casteel, Route 2, Jackson; a daughter, Margie (Mrs. Cecil) Eakins, Cape Girardeau; a brother, Leslie Casteel, of Fredericktown; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
Casteel had owned and operated Casteel Antiques at Fruitland since 1958.
He was a member of new McKendree Methodist Church and the Jackson Nutritional Club.
