CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Lloyd "Duke" Carroll, 77, of Chaffee died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born Sept. 5, 1924, at Chaffee, son of James Edward and Amanda Marie Willie Carroll. He and Patricia Louise Ussery were married Sept. 9, 1957.
Carroll was self-employed.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Lloyd Carroll Jr. of Sikeston; a brother, Eugene Carroll of Chaffee; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and a sister
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 6 p.m. Saturday.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Belk Hill Cemetery in Rockview, Mo. The Rev. Watis Harrell will officiate.
