GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- Liz Crain, 67, of Grand Chain and formerly of Mounds, Ill., died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at her home.
She was born Sept. 19, 1938, at Olmsted, Ill., daughter of John Paul and Ruby Edwards Caudle. She married James W. Crain.
Crain was a retired riverboat cook, a hairdresser and a seamstress. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sherry Kennedy of Olmsted; a son, Donald Jones of Grand Chain; two stepsons, Steve Crain and Jeff Crain of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Kenneth Caudle of Grand Chain, Steve Caudle of Pinckneyville, Ill., Tony Harp of Mound City, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, Ill., from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Scott Kelley and Donna Fuhr officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
