Lisa James, 36, of Jackson passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007, at her home. She was born Aug. 11, 1970, in Farmington, Mo. Lisa attended school at Parkview State School and Horizons Center in Cape Girardeau. She enjoyed life and loved other people with all her heart, which is why so many were blessed being her friend...

Lisa James, 36, of Jackson passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007, at her home.

She was born Aug. 11, 1970, in Farmington, Mo.

Lisa attended school at Parkview State School and Horizons Center in Cape Girardeau.

She enjoyed life and loved other people with all her heart, which is why so many were blessed being her friend.

Lisa is survived by her loving mother, Audrey Gill James of Jackson; two brothers, Craig James of Nashville, Tenn., and Kevin James of Thebes, Ill.; two aunts and uncles, Larry and Janet Dunning of Whitewater and Mitchell and Linda Gill of Millersville; loving cousins, Jeff and Chrissy Dunning and family, Scott and Jamie Dunning and family, Michelle and Andy Cook, and Susan and Seaera Dunning, and many other cousins and their families. She was also survived by special friends of the family, the Barb Scheper family, Jenny James and so many others who loved her and will miss her greatly.

Lisa was preceded in death by her Grandmother and Grandfather Gill and an Uncle Jim Gill.

Friends may call between 6 and 8 p.m. Monday, July 16, at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Horizons Enrichment Center in Cape Girardeau.
