BURFORDVILLE -- Linus Crader, 67, of Burfordville, died Tuesday, March 3, 1992, at Harry S Truman VA Hospital in Columbia.
He was born March 1, 1925, near Burfordville, son of Troy and Elva Masters Crader.
Crader served three years in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a heavy equipment operator with R.B. Potashnick Construction Co. a number of years, and was a pipefitter from 1964-82 with a St. Louis local. He was a member of Burfordville Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Crader of Hawk Point, Randy Crader, Jackson Route 2; a daughter, Gloria Brotherton of Sedgewickville; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandsons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Acup.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Patrick Tankersley will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Thursday.
