SIKESTON -- Linn A. Johnson, 82, of Sikeston died Sunday, Nov. 16, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born June 18, 1915, at Yount, son of Henry Allen and Lona Mercer Johnson. He and Emma Wamble were married June 24, 1943, in St. Louis.

Johnson moved to Sikeston in 1986 from St. Louis. He was a truck driver with Spector-Red Ball Truck Lines, and member of Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Vernon Johnson of Chicago; and a sister, Mary McLennan of Del Ray Beach, Fla.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dale McFarland officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
