SIKESTON -- Lindell M. McCoy, 57, of Sikeston died Monday, Nov. 16, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 7, 1941, in Sikeston, son of Monroe Gaston and Lillian Helen Goins McCoy. He and Linda Faye Wood were married June 10, 1960, in Sikeston.
McCoy served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a master sergeant. He also retired as a clerk supervisor with the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mark McCoy of Milwaukie, Ore., Jerry McCoy of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother, Charles McCoy of Columbia, Tenn.; two half sisters, Pansy Poe and Aileene Beal of Sikeston; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Adams officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
