LINDA MCARTHUR

CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. -- Linda McArthur, 54, of Caruthersville died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 17, 1947, in St. Louis, daughter of Charles A. and Virginia Marie Goldschmidt Beis Sr. She and James McArthur were married in June 1967.

Survivors include a son, James "B.J." McArthur of Jackson, Mo.; a brother, Charles Beis Jr. of Portage-ville, Mo.; a sister, JoAnn Stanfill of Caruthersville; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother.

Friends may call at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville after 5 p.m. Sunday. A prayer service will be held at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Eustachius Catholic Church in Portageville. The Rev. Henry Grodecki will officiate. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery.
