Linda Ivester

Morley, Mo. -- Linda Christine Ivester, 67, of Morley passed away Monday, Nov, 28, 2016, at her family home.

She was born Aug. 20, 1949, in Chicago to the late Harry Ehmpke Sr. and Irene Delgado. She married Richard Allan Ivester Sr., and he survives of the home.

Linda was a quality-control technician for Rubbermaid in Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; two daughters, Lori Cratsley of Chicago Ridge, Illinois, and Cheri Ivester of Elgin, Illinois; three brothers, Harry Ehmpke Jr. of Kentland, Indiana, John Downes of Tennessee and Gary Downes of Indiana; three sisters, Marion Westmoreland of Indiana, Elizabeth Kleinhaus of Evergreen Park, Illinois, and Deborah Maloney of Midlothian, Illinois; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Richard Allan Ivester Jr., on March 13, 2009.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri.

The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ed Rhodes officiating.
