GREENVILLE, Mo. -- Linda Hammett, 58, of Greenville died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

Hammett was born Sept. 9, 1942 in St. Louis, daughter of Elmer Kohenskey and Teresa Kettler Roeder. She and her husband owned and operated a feed store in Greenville.

She and William Hammett were married Dec. 23, 1961, in St. Louis.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Cindy Allen of Silva, Mo., Kimberly Parrott of St. Louis, and Kelley Presson of O'Fallon, Mo.; and three brothers, Ronnie Roeder of St. Louis, Randy Roeder of St. Louis, and Preston Kohensky of St. Louis.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor William Rusnak officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
