SIKESTON, Mo. -- Linda Sue Coyne, 51, of Sikeston died Monday, July 31, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born May 15, 1949, in St. Louis, daughter of Roy O. and Birdie Oliver Chaney. Coyne received a bachelor of arts degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1990. She did substitute teaching at a number of elementary schools in Southeast Missouri. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Linda Sue Coyne, 51, of Sikeston died Monday, July 31, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born May 15, 1949, in St. Louis, daughter of Roy O. and Birdie Oliver Chaney.

Coyne received a bachelor of arts degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1990. She did substitute teaching at a number of elementary schools in Southeast Missouri. She was a member of Powerhouse of God Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Dawn Thompson of Paducah, Ky., Holly Rehder and Lisa Coyne of Sikeston; a brother, Brian Gross of St. Louis; two sisters, Janice Sloan of Sikeston, Lisa Puchbauer of Columbia, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Powerhouse Church, with the Rev. David Craig officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
