TAMMS, Ill. -- Linda Kay Cotilla, 65, of Tamms passed away at 5:52 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at her home.
Linda was born June 10, 1950, in Cairo, Illinois, daughter of the late Leslie Wilmoth and Helen McHughes Wilmoth.
Linda was of the Pentecostal faith, and a retired EMT/ER technician for Union County Hospital in Anna, Illinois.
Survivors include her husband, George Cotilla; a daughter, Tiah Rae Dowdy; two grandsons, Austin Lee Bigham and Samuel James Dowdy, all of Tamms; two brothers, Leslie Earl Wilmoth of Wickliffe, Kentucky, and Ronald Eugene Wilmoth of Paducah, Kentucky; and nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tonia Renee Poole in 1974; and a brother, James Darryl McHughes.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms
A graveside funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. today at St. John's Cemetery in rural Dongola, Illinois, with Rev. Mark Goins officiating. Interment will follow.
