Linda J. Bolton, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 8, 2024, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born June 30, 1953, in Peoria, Illinois, to Hyder and Thelma Barksdale Treece. She and Amos Bolton were married Dec. 23, 1972, in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a daughter, Emily (Michael) Smart of Cape Girardeau; son, Wesley Bolton of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren, Megan Smart and Allison Smart.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
