CANALOU, Mo. -- Limuel B. Thomas, 85, of Canalou died Friday, March 5, 2004, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born Feb. 10, 1919, in Gideon, Mo., son of William and Emma Gardner Thomas. He and Katie Lawanda Scroggin were married Nov. 6, 1950, in Piggott, Ark.
He was a self-employed auto mechanic and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Emma Adams of Canalou; a sister, Billie Samuels of Wentzville, Mo.; a granddaughter and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at 11 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today, with the Rev. Mike Cartwright officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, Mo.
