BENTON -- Lillie R. Duncan, 93, formerly of Route 1, Benton, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1992, at the Hillhaven Convalescence Center in Cordova, Tenn.

She was born Sept. 4, 1899, at Whipple, Ark. the daughter of the late Johnnie M. and Lucy Ann Johnson Mahan.

On July 3, 1914, she married John A. Duncan, who preceded her in death Aug. 8, 1980. She was a housewife, and formerly attended the Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Survivors include four sons, Harold Duncan of Florissant, J.B. Duncan of Columbia, Glendale Duncan of St. Louis; and Ralph Wayne Duncan of Memphis, Tenn; a daughter Joyce Bowen of Memphis; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A son, a brother, three sisters and several half-sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m Tuesday. The Rev. Sam Book will officiate, and burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
