EAST PRAIRIE -- Lillie Mae Zook, 88, of East Prairie, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1992, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff. She was born July 16, 1903, in Edgar County, daughter of Frank and Minnie Pendleton Martinsville Phillipps. She married Willie Wallace Zook Oct. 29, 1924. He died Nov. 8, 1977...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Lillie Mae Zook, 88, of East Prairie, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1992, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

She was born July 16, 1903, in Edgar County, daughter of Frank and Minnie Pendleton Martinsville Phillipps. She married Willie Wallace Zook Oct. 29, 1924. He died Nov. 8, 1977.

She attended the Church of God.

Survivors include three sons, Wayne Zook of Warrenton, Earl Zook of East Alton, Ill., Robert Zook of East Prairie; three daughters, Frances Smith of Mira Loma, Calif., Mary Marcum and Gladys Dodge of Wappapello; a sister, Lona Byrd of Chrisman, Ill.; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. Virgil Hyslip will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
