SIKESTON -- Lillie Mae Linebaugh, 86, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 1995, at Miner Nursing Center. She was born June 10, 1909, in Scott County, son of Charles Dunning and Clara Bell Brawner Martin. She and William Theodore Linebaugh were married Oct. 25, 1925. He died Sept. 25, 1978...

SIKESTON -- Lillie Mae Linebaugh, 86, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 1995, at Miner Nursing Center.

She was born June 10, 1909, in Scott County, son of Charles Dunning and Clara Bell Brawner Martin. She and William Theodore Linebaugh were married Oct. 25, 1925. He died Sept. 25, 1978.

Linebaugh moved here 31 years ago from the Lusk Chapel community. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and active in the Friendly Friday Niters and Morning Ladies Circle.

Survivors include a son, Charles Linebaugh of Highland, Ind.; a daughter, Mary Podgorski of Lake Station, Ind.; two brothers, C.D. Martin of Sikeston, Alfred Martin of Charleston; three sisters, Addie Linebaugh, Rosa Fluegge and Martha Snowden of Charleston; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery at Charleston.
