Lillie B. Jaco, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 12, 2005, at the Lutheran Home. She was born on May 28, 1927, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ellis and Bessie Helderman Reed. She and James Johnson Jaco were married April 10, 1943, in Cape Girardeau County. He died July 2, 1990...

Lillie B. Jaco, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 12, 2005, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born on May 28, 1927, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ellis and Bessie Helderman Reed.

She and James Johnson Jaco were married April 10, 1943, in Cape Girardeau County. He died July 2, 1990.

She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson and a former resident of Jackson.

Survivors include two sons, James Jaco of Jackson, Gary Jaco of Las Vegas; a daughter, Linda Hoffman of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Shelby Reed of Scott City; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
