Miner, Mo. -- Lillie Mae Heavener, 84, of Miner died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at the Miner Nursing Center.
She was born Oct. 1, 1920, in Athens, Ala., daughter of Bennie and Minnie Roberts Holt. She and George Heavener were married Jan. 13, 1940. He died July 10, 1985.
Heavener was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blodgett, Mo. She and her husband owned and operated Heavener Produce for several years until their retirement.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Heavener of Chapel Hill, Tenn., and Jim Heavener of Spring Hill, Tenn.; a daughter, Vera Green of Fenton, Mich.; two brothers, Kirby Holt of Sikeston, Mo., and Earl Holt of Benton, Mo.; a sister, Lorene Crader of Sikeston; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Jim Heavener officiating. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery in Benton.
