SIKESTON -- Funeral for Lillie Mae Adams of Sikeston will be held today at 1 p.m. at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Marvin Butrum officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Adams, 81, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born March 19, 1918, in Marion, Ala., daughter of Walter Green and Zona Dodd Flynn. She married Leo R. Adams Nov. 15, 1945, in Brownwood, Texas. He died Oct. 27, 1998.

Adams was a charter member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Azlelee Cain of Winfield, Ala., and Beulah Brown of Brownwood.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
