Lillian Ruth Weber, 83, of Jackson passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at Monticello House.
She was born Nov. 3, 1927, in Love Joy Hollow near Pocahontas, daughter of John C. and Esther Eunice Cox Davis. She and Everet H. Weber were married June 25, 1949, at Zion Lutheran parsonage in Pocahontas. He passed away Nov. 27, 2010.
Lillian worked at the former International Shoe Co. in Jackson. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Pocahontas since 1955. She was a faithful member of Zion Ladies Aid where she held a former position as treasurer. She enjoyed quilting at home and with the Ladies Aid.
She was a loving wife and mother who always placed her family first. She could always be found by her husband's side whether farming or gardening.
Loving survivors include a son, Randy (Christine) Weber of Jackson; two daughters, Rhonda Starzinger of Jackson and Carolyn Ervin-Mobley of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Henry (Cecelia) Davis of Jackson, Percy (Max) Davis of Perryville, Mo.; three sisters, Vera Farrow and Lillie Kraemer of Jackson; and Melva (Walter) Floyd of Oak Ridge; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, and from 1:30 p.m. to service time Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Robert Mann officiating. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery at Pocahontas.
