McCLURE, Ill. -- Lillian M. Stevens, 90, of McClure passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Heartland Care and Rehab. She was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Risco, Missouri, to the late James and Gertrude Rose Quick. Lillian and Kenneth Stevens were married Feb. 14, 1947, in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death March 28, 2017...

McCLURE, Ill. -- Lillian M. Stevens, 90, of McClure passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Heartland Care and Rehab.

She was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Risco, Missouri, to the late James and Gertrude Rose Quick. Lillian and Kenneth Stevens were married Feb. 14, 1947, in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death March 28, 2017.

Lillian and her husband farmed in McClure since 1963. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include three children, daughter Martha Davis of Cape Girardeau, son David (Linda) Stevens of McClure and daughter Cheryl (Samuel) Barnhart of McClure; a brother, Dalton Quick of Portageville, Missouri; grandchildren Matthew (Chris) Davis, Joe (Brandy) Davis, Lewis (Becky) Stevens, Suzanne (Spencer) Wills, Michael (Leigh) Barnhart and Sara (A.P.) Woods; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Stevens; five brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

Funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Morgan officiating. Burial will take place at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.

Memorial contributions may be given to Lindsey Cemetery Association.
