Lillian Louise Rogers, 81, of Scott City died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 13, 1923, at Jacks Creek, Tenn., daughter of Robert and Lillie Cochran Gillespie. She and Donald Bryan Rogers Jr. were married Jan. 10, 1948, at Hernando, Miss. He died Sept. 11, 1969.
Rogers was a member of the First Baptist Church at Scott City.
Survivors include four sons, Robert Rogers of Cape Girardeau, Johnny Rogers of Scott City, Don Rogers of Wildwood, Mo., Tim Rogers of Cedar Grove, Tenn.; two brothers, Harold and Jerry Gillespie of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Lilla Mae Holt of Little Rock, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to time of funeral Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
