SIKESTON -- Lillian M. Swinney, 66, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 17, 1928, in Akron, Ohio, daughter of John H. and Gertrude Weatherspoon Myers. She and Charles J. Swinney were married Dec. 5, 1944, in East Prairie. He died June 28, 1983.
Swinney worked 27 years at One Day Cleaners, and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include a son, John Swinney of Benton; two brothers, Heron "Pop" and Jack Myers of Portland, Ore.; five sisters, Mildred Northern of Oran, Louise Blake of Elkton, Ky., Clara Myers and Anita Ray of Sikeston, Berniece Williams of Charleston; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bryan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
