SIKESTON -- Lillian M. Scudder, 67, formerly of Blodgett, died Tuesday, May 12, 1992 at her home in Sikeston of natural causes. She was born Oct. 11, 1923 in Blodgett, daughter of Rowlett and Lillie May Rucker Reynolds. She attended Blodgett Baptist Church, and was employed at Graber's Department Store in Sikeston. SIKESTON -- Lillian M. Scudder, 67, formerly of Blodgett, died Tuesday, May 12, 1992 at her home in Sikeston of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 11, 1923 in Blodgett, daughter of Rowlett and Lillie May Rucker Reynolds.

She attended Blodgett Baptist Church, and was employed at Graber's Department Store in Sikeston. She also managed the Regal 8 Hotel in Sikeston.

On May 3, 1944, she married Ralph P. Scudder. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1986.

Survivors are one son, Tony Scudder of Sikeston; two daughters, Annette Poole of Columbia and Paula McDowell of Sikeston; one brother, G.A. "Chick" Reynolds of Sikeston; eight grandchildren and one great grandson.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel with the Rev. Lee Fansler officiating. Burial will follow in Blodgett Cemetery.
