FISK, Mo. -- Lillian L. Kirk, 97, of Fisk died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
She was born Jan. 25, 1917. She and Jesse Frazier Kirk were married Aug. 24, 1935, at Delta. He preceded her in death March 14, 2005.
Lillian was a member of Fisk Presbyterian Church. She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed Cardinals baseball, Twin Rivers Royals and Kentucky Wildcats. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Jesse B. (Carol) Kirk of Sikeston, Missouri, and Wilbur (Brenda) Kirk of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Colleen Riepe and Darlene (Melvin) Lewis of Fisk and Loretta (Bruce) Yarbro of Poplar Bluff; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Wendy Downing officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery.
