BERTRAND -- Lillian I. Loflin, 84, of Bertrand, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 1995, at Bertrand Retirement Facility.

She was born Nov. 19, 1911, in Charleston, daughter of Samuel Thomas and Mina Jewel Brooks Linebaugh. She and Charles Edward Loflin were married July 5, 1930.

Loflin had lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Glen Loflin of Alton, Ill., Larry Loflin of Bertrand, Dennis Loflin of Sikeston; three daughters, Mable Kuykendall of Bloomsdale, Frances Gentry of Memphis, Tenn., Betty Owens of Mounds; four brothers, Harry and Theodore Linebaugh of Charleston, Marshall Linebaugh of Diehlstadt, Marcus Linebaugh of Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Evelyn Napier and Dorothy Hellgamyer of Springfield; 18 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Lee Fansler and Lawrence Ray officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
