Lillian Elliott

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Lillian Hester Elliott, 89, of Advance passed away Sept. 26, 2011, at Advance Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 12, 1922, in Sank, Mo., daughter of John Monroe and Vallie Albertine Shell Null. She married Eldon Liley, then married Bert Elliott. Both preceded her in death.

Elliott was a former nurse's aide at Saint Francis Medical Center. She loved to play the piano and sing with her family, She was of the General Baptist belief.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen B. Elliott of Senath, Mo., Larry E. Elliott of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two daughters, Sharon Liley Taber of Kernersville, N.C., Shirley Liley Zavarella of Las Vegas; a brother, Norman Null of Wentzville, Mo.; a sister, Freda Opal Nall of Cape Girardeau; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
