SIKESTON, Mo. -- Lillian "Feedie" Braden, 72, of Sikeston died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.
She was born Sept. 17, 1932, in Sikeston, daughter of Lynn and Edith Jeanette Carter Ancell. She and Laurence P. Braden were married Nov. 20, 1954, in Chicago.
Braden received a bachelor of science degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She had been a registrar at Orange Unified School District in Orange, Calif.
She moved to Sikeston in 1997 from Orange. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and DAR.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Ellen Burroughs of Reno, Nev., Leslie Thomas of Houston, Texas; a stepsister, Sandy Kilgore of Palm Harbor. Fla.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at First United Methodist Church after 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, with the Revs. William Koch, Jonathan Cooney and Harold Norton officiating.
