MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Lillian Biggs, 84, of Memphis, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. She was born March 28, 1918, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of John W. and Georgia Stacy Goodman. She and Bill Bryant Biggs were married Oct. 21, 1933, in Cardwell, Mo. He died Oct. 13, 1984...

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Lillian Biggs, 84, of Memphis, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

She was born March 28, 1918, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of John W. and Georgia Stacy Goodman.

She and Bill Bryant Biggs were married Oct. 21, 1933, in Cardwell, Mo. He died Oct. 13, 1984.

She belonged to the First General Baptist Church of Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include three sons, Darrel Biggs of Mayfield, Ky., Billy Don Biggs of Memphis, Gary Biggs of Paducah, Ky.; six daughters, Hazel McCormack of Memphis, Wanda Smothers of Branson, Mo., Sue McCormick of Oklahoma City, Kaye James of St. Louis, Jean Filetti of Chicago, Carolyn Byassee of Paducah; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. David Griesemer officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
