ANNA, Ill. -- Lillian Elizabeth Ballard, 95, of Melbourne, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at the home of her son. She was born Jan. 8, 1911, in Anna, daughter of Walter J. and Ara R. Rendleman Lamer. She and Royal Lee Ballard were married May 19, 1945, in Anna. He died March 25, 2000...

ANNA, Ill. -- Lillian Elizabeth Ballard, 95, of Melbourne, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at the home of her son.

She was born Jan. 8, 1911, in Anna, daughter of Walter J. and Ara R. Rendleman Lamer. She and Royal Lee Ballard were married May 19, 1945, in Anna. He died March 25, 2000.

Survivors include a son, Timothy Ballard of Palm Bay, Fla.; a stepson, William Ballard of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Estella Davis of Columbia, Ill.; and a grandson.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Anna City Cemetery, with the Rev. Randy Carstens officiating.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
