MILLERSVILLE -- Lillard Dockins, 83, of Santa Ana, Calif., died Sunday, March 8, 1992, in Santa Ana. He was born Jan. 29, 1909, at Millersville, son of Edmund Lee and Lucy Johnson Dockins. Dockins moved to Orange County, Calif., about 50 years ago. He was a self-employed businessman, retiring in 1982. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II...

MILLERSVILLE -- Lillard Dockins, 83, of Santa Ana, Calif., died Sunday, March 8, 1992, in Santa Ana.

He was born Jan. 29, 1909, at Millersville, son of Edmund Lee and Lucy Johnson Dockins.

Dockins moved to Orange County, Calif., about 50 years ago. He was a self-employed businessman, retiring in 1982. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Michael Dockins of Kawai, Hawaii; four daughters, Yvette Roderick, Cynthia Rodriguez and Lisa Dockins of Santa Ana, Terry Cline of Rawlett, Texas, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Brown Colonial Mortuary in Santa Ana.
