BLOOMFIELD -- Lila Q. "Granny" Linville, 81, of Bloomfield died Saturday, Nov. 25, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born March 2, 1914, in Murphysboro, Ill., daughter of the late Edward C. and Ollie Keating Perkins. She married Robert M. Linville on July 16, 1938. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1964...

BLOOMFIELD -- Lila Q. "Granny" Linville, 81, of Bloomfield died Saturday, Nov. 25, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 2, 1914, in Murphysboro, Ill., daughter of the late Edward C. and Ollie Keating Perkins. She married Robert M. Linville on July 16, 1938. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1964.

She was a longtime resident of the Bloomfield area and a retired employee of Advance Shoe factory, where she had worked for 23 years. She was a member of the Oak Ridge General Baptist Church.

Surviving are two granddaughters: Debbie Huey of Cape Girardeau and Sandra Glueck of Scott City; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held Monday at the Watkins and Sons Chapel, with the Rev. Arvil Croy of Advance officiating. Burial will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield.
