Lexie Kincade

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Lexie Kincade, 62, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born May 7, 1939, in Morley, Mo., son of Connie and Beulah Mize Kincade.

He and Bonnie Travis were married March 9, 1976.

He retired from the U.S. Army as a master sergeant.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Vernon Dale Kincade of Benton, Mo., and Derek Kincade of Sikeston; a daughter, Tammy Van Cise of Augusta, Ga.; a sister, Colleen Wilkinson of Blairsville, Ga.; a cousin with whom he was raised, Mary Hays of Morley; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and a twin brother.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Burnes officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
