LEVI FOSTER

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Levi Daniel Foster, 9, of Sparta, Ill., died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at St. Louis Children's Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was born March 12, 1992, in West Plains, Mo., son of Thomas and Lana Beardsley Foster Jr.

Levi was a member of Loyalty Missionary Baptist Church in Sparta.

Survivors include his parents of Sparta; a brother, Caleb Foster of the home; a sister, Valerie Foster of the home; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Evelyn Foster of Wiggins, Miss.; maternal grandparents, Ron and Helen Beardsley of Sikeston; paternal great-grandmother, Ruby Langwith of Sparta; maternal great-grandmother, Ellen Russom of Canalou, Mo.; maternal great-grandfather and great-stepgrandmother, Gene "Skeeter" and Maggie Slayton of Sikeston.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Revs. Mike Quillman and Jerry Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
