DEXTER, Mo. -- Letha Edwards, 90, of Eldorado Springs, Mo., died Saturday, June 30, 2001, at her home. She was born Jan. 14, 1911, at Lodi, Mo., daughter of Joseph Allen and Della E. Medlin Bennett. She and Uel "Pete" Edwards were married May 17, 1943, at Parma, Mo. He died March 22, 1986...

DEXTER, Mo. -- Letha Edwards, 90, of Eldorado Springs, Mo., died Saturday, June 30, 2001, at her home.

She was born Jan. 14, 1911, at Lodi, Mo., daughter of Joseph Allen and Della E. Medlin Bennett. She and Uel "Pete" Edwards were married May 17, 1943, at Parma, Mo. He died March 22, 1986.

Edwards was formerly of Dexter.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Whitney of Eldorado Springs; a stepson, Fred Edwards of Dexter; two grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Pennington officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery at Essex, Mo.
