KARNAK, Ill. -- Leta Meyer, 66, of Karnak died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
She was the daughter of Roy and Zona Davis Martin. She and Jesse D. Meyer were married June 2, 1956.
Meyer had worked at Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis, Ill. She was a member of Karnak Baptist Church, and also attended Anderson Congregational Church in Boaz, Ill.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Cheryl Leonard and Rhonda Wood of Karnak; a son, Ronald Meyer of Karnak; three sisters, Vesta Henderson of Decatur, Ind., Muriel Palenik of Clearwater, Fla., Margie Tapley of Karnak; two brothers, James and Bill Martin of Walkerton, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Revs. Gerell Cain and Ken Sharp will officiate. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery in Boaz.
