SULLIVAN -- Lester W. "Bill" Niswonger, 50, of Sullivan died Sunday, March 3, 1996, in Tulsa, Okla., the result of a trucking accident.
He was born June 21, 1945, in Cape Girardeau.
On June 26, 1965, he married Barbara Pinnell in Leasburg, Mo. She survives.
He was employed for 20 years with Yellow Freight Line as an over-the-road driver. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Cuba, Mo., where he was a deacon and trustee. He was a past Noble Grand of IOOF Lodge 156 of Sullivan. He also enjoyed singing with his family quartet.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Alice Bruster of Littleton, Colo.; one son, David Niswonger of Columbia; one daughter, Dawn Robey of Sullivan; three brothers, Johnny Niswonger of Scott City, and Larry and Jerry Niswonger, both of Littleton, Colo.; one sister, Lisa Niswonger of South Carolina; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be today at 3 p.m. at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, with burial in Lea Cemetery at Leasburg.
