GREENSBORO, N.C. - Lester Troy Chostner, 83, a native of Scopus, died Sunday May 23, 1993 at the home of his daughter in Winston Salem, N.C. He had been living at Brookridge Retirement Home in Winston-Salem.
He attended Southeast Missouri State University and was a retired sales executive with U.S. Shoe Corp. and former president of Clinton Shoe Stores. He was a member of the O'Henry Golden K Kiwanis Club and a Mason.
He is survived by three daughters, Betsy Bowman of Charlotte, N.C., Judy Willis of Raleigh, N.C., and Nancy Underwood of Winston-Salem; one son, Jerry Chostner of Winston-Salem; one sister, Rosalie Hall of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel.
Visitation will be tonight at the Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Funeral Home in Greensboro. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Chapel, where he was a member. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
