Funeral for Leslie Fred Juden of Lake Jackson, Texas, will be held at noon today at Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Freeport, Texas. The Rev. Waldemar Wehmier will officiate. Graveside service with military honors will be at 3 p.m. at Houston National Veterans Cemetery in Texas.
Juden, 78, died Sunday, April 8, 2001.
A native of Cape Girardeau, he was the son of Fred and Ella Juden. He married the former Wanda Totten.
Juden was retired from Dow Chemical. He had resided at Lake Jackson since 1967.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, and received six Bronze Stars and four overseas bars.
Survivors include five daughters, Carol King of Fort Worth, Texas, Brenda Brannen of Roswell, N.M., Pam Floyd of Rockdale, Texas, Cherri Baird and Chris Wuensche of Lake Jackson; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother, and a sister.
